This antique earthenware sugar bowl by Dunn Bennett & Co features a beautiful "Balmoral" pattern in blue transfer technique. The sugar bowl comes with a lid. The transferware features an aesthetic movement style and is from the United Kingdom, manufactured in 1886 at Hill Works pottery. The item measures 4 inches in diameter, 6 inches in height, and 7 inches in width. Add a touch of antique charm to your kitchen with this original piece. It features a background of oak leaves and acorns with 3 cartouches. In the fan cartouche is a lake scene with trees. The round cartouche has two birds on a limb. The rectangle cartouche contains a river scene. There is a small chip inside rim. No discoloration, cracks or crazing noted. This item is old and has age related wear. I do my best to describe any flaws that I see, but I suggest you look carefully at all of the photos and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the item.
