VINTAGE BLUE CORNFLOWER CORNING WARE 1 3/4 QT DISH #P-1 3/4-B WITH FITTED LID. What's Included: 1 Corning Ware 1 3/4 Qt dish, model #P-1 3/4-B 1 Pyrex fitted lid, model #P-7-C Background: This 1 3/4 Qt dish is made from Corning Ware's trademarked pyroceram material. The dish can be used to store food (fridge/freezer safe,) cook food (stove top/oven/microwave safe) and serve food. Consumer forums do recommend low to medium heat for stove top use, so as to not potentially burn food. This dish was manufactured between 1969 and 1972, based on my research about the underside stamp. Corning Ware produced before 1999 is deemed vintage. The blue cornflower design is on the front and back sides. Please note that inside one of the middle flowers, there is a golden marking that may have been a production flaw or otherwise. Condition: Good condition. Fair amount of superficial grey markings around the top perimeter and underside from use. Also, there are some grey scratches on the interior from utensils. Please see photos for a better reference. No cracks on dish or Pyrex glass lid.
