Very clean exterior and interior of high gloss white glass with applied tan colored surface and gold graphic. No visible stains. No chips nor cracks. Base rim ring that makes contact with adjacent surfaces is only location on item that shows wear/use marks. See backlight photo for detail wear condition to body color & applied print graphic. White glass with tan colored surface and gold printed graphic, (#404) 4 quart embossed base logo clearly denoted “MADE IN USA”, “PYREX”, & “ovenware”. Applied gold print graphic is excellent condition with no visible wear. Many online sources define the ‘gold’ graphic on Pyrex of the early 1960s as metal/ “real gold “ and thus should not be used in a microwave. All vintage Pyrex should be hand washed (not placed in a dishwasher) for best long term life of item.
