For your consideration is this vintage Corning Ware 1-3/4 Qt. casserole in the Blue Cornflower pattern with Pyrex fin lid, no number. This gem is a real treasure! Truly an amazing find! Approximate measurements: 6-1/2” interior front to back 6-3/4” interior side to side 9” handle to handle 3-1/4” tall (without lid) 4-1/2” tall (with lid) Bottom marking in light blue ink places production of this item from 1960-1961 and reads: 1 3/4 QT. CORNING WARE ® PYROCERAM ® MADE IN U.S.A. 2nd generation Corning Ware with an original Pyrex fin handle lid. * * * Clean & Sparkly * * * Interior looks like new! Casserole has few scuff marks on handles and bottom. Clear glass lid is marked “PYREX ®” with no additional markings. This early Pyrex lid is in excellent condition! Like new! Honestly amazing…..usually the lids show their age more so than the casseroles, but not in this case. “Spot” on one corner is flaw in glass. Please view photos carefully. This is classic Corning Ware which has withstood the test of time. They just don’t make it like this anymore. Awesome addition for someone that appreciates Corning Ware history. Thanks for looking!
