Description
2 quart red/orange tone enamel metal cooking pot or saucepan. The enamel has an ombre effect from red to orange with a white geometric diamond matrix design. Has the matching lid, but unfortunately one of the composite handle covers is missing. There is a tab handle, but the heat safe handle cover is missing. There are a few small chips to the bottom of the pot as shown, and some wear to the interior which is also shown. This was made in the USA, by the US Stamping Co, of WV. I think this was a failed cookware line called Savoryware. The company already made a line of utilitarian enamelware products including coffee pots, pails, dish pans, etc. This I guess was a way to try to add color to their drab offerings in the 1970's. I do admit it is a very bold and definitely 70's vibe to the pattern and colors. Pot is 9.5" from handle to handle - 6" across top and 7.25" across base. Height is 5" with lid and 4.5" without the lid. The lid is designed to be slightly recessed into the top of the pot. A very Stylish usable pot, just will have to remember to us your pot holders.
