Description

Add a touch of retro flair to your kitchen with this vintage set of 2 CorningWare square casserole dishes in the Spice of Life Pattern, made in Corning, New York during the 1970's. The larger of the 2 dishes is # A-2 and has a 2 quart capacity. It measures 10 1/8" from handle to handle, 8 1/2" wide and is 2 3/4" high. The inside is 2 1/2" deep. The smaller dish is # P-43-B and holds 2 3/4 cups. It is 6 7/8" from handle to handle, 5 3/8" wide and is 2 1/4" high. It is 2 1/4" deep inside. Made of patented and durable pyroceram material, these dishes are safe to use in the oven, broiler, microwave, and on the stove top. They are also dishwasher safe but it's best to handwash them to preserve the pattern. The beautiful spice of life pattern features an array of veggies, herbs and spices including; tomatoes, potatoes, mushrooms, onions, artichokes, mint and more. The veggies are in the typical 70's earthtone colors of red/orange, brown, sage green and yellow. The larger casserole has an etched backstamp with the model #, location of manufacture and capacity. The smaller one has the same info printed on it. These original CorningWare dishes are a great addition to any vintage kitchen and fun to serve family and friends in dishes that look like they came straight out of the Brady Bunch kitchen. Both dishes are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, flea bites or pattern fading. There is very little, if any wear or utensil marks inside or on the bottoms and there is no staining. Please note, the dishes DO NOT come with lids.
