Description

This is a beautiful Wedgwood covered casserole dish in the pattern PEONY. From Wedgwoods Oven to Table series, this pattern was produced in England from 1977 until being discontinued in 1978. It is described as having rust flowers with brown leaves and a brown trim. Iconic 1970's colors. This 2 Quart Covered Casserole Dish measures approximately 10 inches long on the top without the handles (11 1/4 on the outside bottom, 10 1/2 on the inside bottom), approximately 7 1/2 inches wide on the top (9 inches on the outside bottom) and is approximately 2 1/2 inches deep on the inside (2 7/8 inches deep on the outside). There are applied handles on the both ends of the casserole and one on the lid. Casserole dish is in good vintage pre-owned condition. There are no nicks, chips, cracks or repairs. Brown edge trim does show some signs of wear. Please see and enlarge the last two photos for a close up.
